PRICE MATCH POLICY

At Chair Source, we are committed to offering fair, competitive pricing and exceptional service. If you find a lower advertised price on an identical item, we will gladly review it and, when eligible, match the price in accordance with the guidelines below.

WHAT WE WILL PRICE MATCH

Chair Source will consider price match requests for new, identical items that meet all of the following criteria:

    • Same manufacturer, model, size, finish, fabric, configuration, and warranty
    • Sold by an authorized Canadian retailer
    • Available for purchase and in stock at the time of the request
    • Offered under comparable terms, including delivery area, assembly, warranty, and service level

Price matches may be requested before purchase or within 14 days after purchase.

TIMING OF PRICE MATCH REQUESTS

  • Before Purchase: Price matches may be requested prior to completing your purchase.
  • After Purchase: Price matches may be requested within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • Approved adjustments will be issued as a dollar-for-dollar refund of the price difference.
  • No additional percentage bonuses or promotional credits apply.

CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

  • Custom or made-to-order items may be eligible for price matching only before the order is submitted to the supplier or manufacturer.
  • Once production has begun, custom orders are final and not eligible for price matching, refunds, or adjustments.
  • All custom price match requests are subject to management discretion and approval.

ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS

Price matching applies to:

    • Local Canadian brick-and-mortar retailers
    • Canadian online retailers with a physical presence in Canada

Price matching does not apply to pricing from:

    • Wayfair
    • Amazon Marketplace
    • Facebook Marketplace
    • Online marketplaces, auction sites, or third-party sellers
    • Unauthorized dealers or resellers

COMMERCIAL, TRADE, AND CONTRACT SALES

  • This policy is intended primarily for residential retail purchases.
  • Commercial, trade, hospitality, contract, and volume pricing may be considered for price matching at management discretion, and may be subject to additional terms, limitations, or exclusions.

DELIVERY, ASSEMBLY, AND SERVICES

  • Price comparisons must reflect comparable delivery scope, service level, assembly, and warranty.
  • If a competitor advertises free or discounted delivery, delivery costs may be factored into the comparison at management discretion.
  • Differences in service, warranty, or post-sale support may affect eligibility.

EXCLUSIONS

Price matching does not apply to:

    • Clearance, floor models, discontinued, or as-is items
    • Limited-time promotions, flash sales, warehouse events, liquidation or closeout sales
    • Bundles, rebates, coupons, financing incentives, or loyalty programs
    • Pricing errors or typographical mistakes
    • Products sold in quantities deemed unreasonable for personal use
    • Purchases intended for resale

VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proof of the competitor’s price must be provided (advertisement, website link, or written quote)
  • The item must be available for immediate purchase at the advertised price
  • Chair Source reserves the right to verify pricing and availability directly with the competitor

GENERAL TERMS

  • Only one price match request per item
  • Chair Source reserves the right to limit quantities
  • All price match requests are subject to management review and approval
  • This policy may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice
